This type of parking is unfortunately all to common in Belgium, also parking on a cycle lane is considered normal , especially if pinkers are deployed.
The one in front is also illegally parked. It’s too close to the crossing.
Across the street is almost just as bad.

And don’t even try to ride your bike around an illegally parked car…….drivers will yell, “get back on the cycling path!” Really!?

It really annoys me they put the fuel cap on the left side. I think it’s one of the only German cars that has it there. All the cars I drove (which were all German) had it on the right.
They did some towing there last week 🙂 a friendly “Hi!” from 17A across the street!
u/Bitt3rSteel any reason why you guys don’t fine these douches more? I see this ALL THE FREAKING TIME. Everywhere. This and literally parking on cycling paths and side walks, with hazard lights on which is double illegal.
Like half of the population doesn’t know the basic rules related to crosswalks. Some heavy enforcement is needed. It’s also an easy parking ticket.
But god-forbid I load my car on a loading spot “for trucks”. Then traffic cops are always right around the corner when I’m just inside: “sorry sir, we asked some random person whose car this was and we can’t do anything about it anymore.”
