England have come roaring back into contention at Euro 2025 and reached the knockout rounds on Sunday.

Sarina Wiegman’s defending champions began in Group D alongside France, Wales and the Netherlands.

After a disappointing opening defeat to France, the Lionesses sprang into life against the Netherlands with a 4-0 thrashing.

They then secured their knockout place with a 6-1 mauling of British neighbours Wales, finishing second behind France.

They will now face Sweden in the quarter-finals on Thursday evening.
