Poll: Would you like to see Elon Musk buy Twitter? · TheJournal.ie

  1. Peoples ability to gain wealth should have limitations. There is a point where the benefit of one persons wealth is counter productive to the benefits of the general population.

  2. Second attempt! This could be fun! Apologies for posting incorrectly earlier. Anyways!

What’s even worse is the fact that The Journal published an article about 1 hour later about Musk keeping quiet about purchasing more stock past the 5% he is ‘legally’ allowed to have. Not 1 comment on that article(in 3 hours at time of writing), which involved doing a bit of reading whereas the, ‘After the headline forget the foreword, go straight to the vote and then the comments section’ and the pollsters are off and spouting shite that isn’t even remotely close to the truth. Their ignorance is such a sight to behold and so rarely seen in this day and age! /s. Just because he has a few bob doesn’t make him a bully ffs! At school he was most definitely on the receiving end of the bullying, going by what was written in [this](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-10719535/How-Billionaire-SpaceX-founder-Elon-Musk-went-loner-South-Africa-richest-man-world.html) recent article.

My view is that he knows full well what he’s doing and is quite prepared to pay any fine the SEC or whoever throws at him, he’ll offer to sell stock like before and he will say exactly the same as he said a few months ago when asked to solve world hunger with $6billion. “Show me exactly where the money goes and I’ll pay it!”. Only this time it’s much more important, it’s money for the government/politicians not starving kids! He will hopefully use the opportunity to show exactly how blockchain technology actually works to the benefit of all of us, if implemented in a ~~centralized~~ decentralized manner. The fine will come out of the advertising budget me thinks.

The biggest advantage Elon has is the fact that he is a self confessed autist. The establishment have convinced a vast swathe of the world’s population AND it would appear, themselves, that folks WITH Autism and other ‘mental & physical disabilities’ are to be felt sorry for/pitied and/or looked down upon. At time of writing he is the world’s richest man, he’s an autist, he’s anti-establishment and pro, actual, freedom of speech, maybe it’s about time people started paying attention to him and maybe did a bit of proper reading about him and forgot the whole calling a diver a paedo shite.

Just give the lad a chance, yes his ‘aul fella owned a vineyard or two or something, and on paper, was never skint, but in my opinion, he’s one of the few chances we’ve got left.
Edit: centralized missing strikethrough. Copy and pasted from my original comment on original post that was removed for Editorialization. Mea culpa!

  3. I have a passive interest in this but it seems to be upsetting people who were delighted with some of Twitter’s moves when people who had the same views as them ran it. We’ll see, I’m not sure it’ll happen. With that said, we should be very careful with who we give the keys to such a powerful tool.

  4. Couldn’t give a f**k to be honest! Like what absolute difference would it make to anyone,
    except his own ego?
