  16. Mental health, specifically Narcissism, needs to be a much more openly discussed issue.

    Imagine if Putin or Trump were actively showing signs of struggling with depression or ADHD. “The President has continued to stay in his bedroom, missing all meetings and summits for going on three weeks.” People, medical experts, and news outlets would be calling it out and saying, “he’s showing signs of depression.” Medical doctors would check him out, tell him that he has all of the signs of depression, and recommend a treatment plan, to which most individuals would begin following. But, imagine if once he was told about his diagnosis, he said, “no I’m not! I’m doing more than any other president before me. I’ve completely turned our economy around for the better!” (Someone dealing with depression more than likely would never say these things, but just go along with me for a bit longer)

    The symptoms and impact would be completely obvious to most everyone around him. Both the President and Putin would be treated completely differently than they are currently.

    Narcissistic personality disorder and depression are both mental health disorders, but one of them carries the symptom of thinking that they are perfect and nothing is wrong.

    Trump and Putin both seem to fit this diagnosis. So why aren’t we treating them both as if they are struggling with a mental health illness, rather than allowing both countries to be led by the whims of someone who is not mentally healthy?

    If either of them had been diagnosed as bipolar, there actions and moods changed drastically and caused potentially critical issues directly for the world, and then it was discovered that they had decided not to take their prescribed medication… how would we deal with that?

    If a hugely powerful leader of a democratic society developed a brain tumor that impacted that person’s ability for critical thinking and impulse control, and the tumor was completely operable and removable… and they decided not to have it removed and their actions became more and more reckless, how would we deal with that?

    We’re living in a world where two of the most powerful countries with the most dangerous armies are being led by two men showing constant and repeated examples of narcissistic personality disorder… and we’re all just riding along in the backseat watching to see how this is going to play out.

    There’s a problem here, and it needs to be addressed….

  22. I personally think that Putin is trying to reduce his population size. For whatever little territory he’s capturing here and there army is being massacred, I’ve seen videos of Russian soldiers being ordered on “patrols” towards Ukrainian lines across open fields they know are being patrolled by FPV drones and in one of those videos the Russian soldier was barely even bothering to hold his rifle because he knew what was about to happen and had just accepted his fate and that’s not even getting into the cases of Russian armoured vehicles, full of troops, just driving into barely hidden minefields or playing this weird game of “Musical Chairs” where vehicles will drive in convoy back and forward past one another in full view of Ukrainian ATGM units getting picked off one by one until an order is given for the “lucky” survivors to be allowed to retreat

    This leads me to conclude that Putin is purposely killing off his population (Much of his army is made up of people from rural areas) because his economy cannot function with so many people being a drain on the state and killing them off is easier than reforming the Oligarchy system

  23. And he’s not scared to DIE for his country.. That’s why him and so many like him aren’t intimidated by the threat of nuclear war.. The difference is they think WE ARE and that’s why they use it against us.. They know we’re willing to fight for our country but what about dying? I have no doubt that he would press that button or at least consider it, with no fear of the consequences if we went to war with them.

  26. Putin is a psychopath, just like Trump and many others currently in power. Which means he can never admit to be wrong because his narcissistic personality won’t allow it. Which also means he can never accept losing this war, which is the only acceptable outcome for the European countries and used to be for the US before agent Krasnov took over. Which means that in order for this war to end in such an acceptable way for Ukraine and ‘the West’ Putin must no longer be in power. Either because he is removed from power by a Russian actor or because he is dead.

    I expect Ukraine knows this and would do anything to see Putin gone. No doubt Putin is very hard to get to. I have toyed with the idea to simply put a bounty on his head and see whether this will motivate groups inside Russia to act. Ukraine could offer a 10bn. reward, no questions asked, for anyone who delivers Putin into the hands of Ukraine, or a Ukranian ally. Would whoever replaces him want to continue the war? Why would they want to? One condition would have to be that the reward cannot be claimed by whoever replaces Putin without ironclad safeguards the war will be ended and occupied territories will be handed back to Ukraine. Could be interesting to see how this might affect matters. I doubt it will happen though.

    The only alternative where Putin is still in power would be Russia defeating Ukraine. Unthinkable I hope.

  31. All Zelensky had to do was give Russians in Ukraine their rights back after they took them away in 2014, demilitarize, and everything would of been fine, no war. But Zelensky was a puppet of Biden who wanted war with Russia so that they could take back Crimea. Obama and Biden both wanted to sail a US aircraft carrier into the black sea and park it at the Crimean naval base, and they actually thought they could do it by overthrowing the Russian friendly Ukraine government and installing a Western friendly government that would then cancel the Russian lease to the Crimean naval base. Well that is what happened, I read it on the BBC, they new Ukraine government was going to first not renew the lease, and then said they were going to cancel it, that is when Russia took over Crimea.
