The fact that the AFU have targeted the officers and planners has really put a damper on much the orcs were trying to do.
Yes, true, but……….RuZombies can keep doing this for years, if not a decade or two. Maybe not at the same rate as 2022-2024, but still a considerable size of force.
With China’s backing, a huge fleet of oil-smuggling ships, and a long list of greedy countries that will do business with them.
UKR cannot win through a prolonged war of attrition, because UKR has 3.5x fewer resources than RuZ, including millions of fodder zombies (10 million at least) that RuZ could mobilize over a decade. Without conscription, because there are MANY poor, foolish, and greedy zombies inside RuZ, at least 20 million or more.
The ONLY way for UKR to win is either with superior game-changing weapons (Stealth tech, NATO won’t give) OR an internal collapse/uprising inside RuZ.
Either UKR develops its own stealth tech, 5th gen or above, OR finds a way to trigger a collapse/uprising inside RuZ.
I personally don’t see any other way.
Unless………High altitude low RCS solar powered heavy lift WAR BALLOONS (with encrypted SatLink, near impossible to jam).
High-altitude, super low RCS war balloons (solar-powered with a propeller), 4-ton payload, cheap and mass-producible. Too high for most missiles to reach (thin air at such altitude), and very very difficult to detect, especially if designed with a radar scattering shape and radar absorbing polymer. Able to drop 4 ton of cheap bombs and drones, deep inside RuZ, 24/7 carousel style, until most RuZ critical infras are blown to shyt.
They basically function like attack satellites, but much cheaper.
A 3 months long balloon bombing compaign should be able to permanently disable RuZ’s capability to prosecute this war.
HOWEVER, this will require EU and UKR factories to produce thousands of these war balloons (and it’s bombs, drones), and field them BEFORE RuZ get the same idea and start making them with China’s help.
Yes, this idea is untested in a real war, though it has been tested by DARPA and a few private companies with good results. China is pretty good at making them too, which would be a problem since they may just share it with RuZ.
