Can anyone help me understand this bill?

This is mu first flat in Germany and I’m used to renting in France, where things are not even close to these prices. I think I’ve paid about 50€/month for water and about 100€/month for heating in France, while in here I’m getting heating and betriebkosten added up to 5000€.

Now, I’ve paid about 200€/month on it, as advised by the landlord, which ended up in an additional 2600€ payment. Can anyone help me understand what is going on? It’s very confusing to me and quite surprising, actually.

  2. Why are all the “Anfangsstand” values 0? Your consumption seems absolutely massive and unrealistic. Did you make sure that they were actually set to?

    80k l of water? Do you shower every day for half an hour?

  3. well the numbers are there. i think you have 111m² flat and 200€ seem not that bad (depending on how many people and how much youre at home) .. so might compare this to your old flat? was it smaller ? are you now more at home? 70% of the water was used from the bath, so maybe alot of bathing/showering or else (of so then add water-saving adapter to your shower and sink)

    only thing ive never had was that the Meter is at 0.000,00 at beginn of the year.
