Several teams are vying for supremacy in the 2025 Moldova Futsal Cup, a competition that began on Sunday at the FMF Futsal Arena in Ciorescu commune. The event is organized by the Moldovan Football Federation, the Professional Futsal League of Moldova, and the City Hall of Chisinau, reports IPN.
The municipal authorities reaffirm their commitment to remain “a reliable partner for local, national, and international sports”. “It is commendable that the municipal investments in sports infrastructure and programs dedicated to young people continue to bear fruit. More and more athletes, coaches, and supporters choose an active and healthy lifestyle,” says a post from the Chisinau City Hall.
The eight participating teams were divided into two groups of four. As a result of the draw, Group A consists of FC Stauceni, Sporting Nisporeni, Moldsilva, and MAIB, while Group B includes Clic Media, Steaua Dental, Cricova, and FC Chisinau. The top two teams from each group will advance to the play-off stage of the competition.
Also this year, between September 25 and October 5, the capital will host, for the first time, Futsal U19 EURO Moldova 2025 – a major European tournament, in which eight junior national teams from Europe will participate.
