Hello everyone.
I have some questions regarding study in Germany.
I sent my admission request to a university and they advised me that if I want to study on campus I have to study pathway program for two semesters then I will be eligible to study on campus. (However I have checked Anabin and DAAD databases and I’m already eligible to start studying right away with my certificates. I’ve got my university without a pathway program) But they notified me that if I want I can start studying right away in distance learning without a pathway program.
I was wondering what’s different between studying on campus and fernstudium (distant learning)
Is the studying quality the same? the certificate at the end they will issue would be the same? this way studying impact for the job and career I will be looking for? I’m really worry I start to studying distant learning and middle of the way I notice would not be good for finding a good job or when I want to apply for a job impact on it. I appreciate your attention. Let me know more about it. The university I applied is : [iu.de](https://iu.de/)
IU Internationale Hochschule
Thanks

That appears to be a feature specific do that private institution. It’s not *normal* in German universities.
Your future will be much more impacted by the choice of a private institution than by how particularly you got your degree from them.
