The funny thing is that the GDPR and DSA, the two leading European directives about data usage, storage and security, are mostly copies of the ‘local’ German laws and principles, more precisely the BDSG and NetzDG.

We do need our own cloud storage though. Either on national level or EU-level.
Relying on USA or China is very short sighted (and also very hard to combine with GDPR, since there is so much information you cant store there.)

Hey I have a bunch of those… I even use them at work. We call them binders.
Can confirm my partners German and we have two for each of us(one work and one everything else), for the kid, the car and one for the house.
