Liberal Democrats urge government to close ‘non-dom’ spouse loophole

  1. why only ‘government members’ partners? That doesn’t make sense to me, do they not agree with married partners being able to have separate tax arrangements? If it is a ‘loophole’, then why would it cease to be a loophole if the persons spouse wasn’t in the government?

  2. Just stop MPs having second jobs would be the bigger step. But the Tories have already sewn this one up with a bill that was not worth the paper it was written on.
