why only ‘government members’ partners? That doesn’t make sense to me, do they not agree with married partners being able to have separate tax arrangements? If it is a ‘loophole’, then why would it cease to be a loophole if the persons spouse wasn’t in the government?
Just stop MPs having second jobs would be the bigger step. But the Tories have already sewn this one up with a bill that was not worth the paper it was written on.
