For whatever reason the immigrants we get from India are, GENERALLY, top draw and those from Pakistan are villagers just out of the Stone Age. I shit you not, Islamabad is more liberal than Dewsbury.
In, say, Canada, this isn’t true at all, with low grade Indians going there, and many Pakistanis in the US work in tech. There are educated and uneducated in both countries – educated liberal Indians come to the UK and mix with natives. That “doctors and engineers” meme is pretty accurate for UK Indians.
That is why Brits generally like Indians and won’t have bad word said against them. Also, they don’t try and blow us up.
British Indians are the most socioeconomically successful group in the UK. They’re great.

If you need good scran or a doctor Indian is the way to go.
In my experience indian first names are way longer, typically longer than the last names (!)
Indian help created the famous British food of curry, naan, and samosas
Jeets thinking they are not skinny fat… and cow pee is medicine
Since we’re playing sterotypes I will add that I have NEVER met a bad Sikh – they have all been top tier humans. I’m sure there are bad ones are out there somewhere, but the ones encountered so far have all been highly decent.
Its fun and games until you redeem the gift card
At least Indians don’t blow themselves and integrate well and the good is decent
You see, they have drawn the hindu ones as the gigachad and the muslim ones as the soyjack so they have won automatically
The old school Indian, Carribbean, and central African migrants that settled in the 50s, 60s, and 70s are some of the most wholesome and patriotic people I’ve ever met.
Worlds of difference between previous generations and those of today.

Hum… Barry? Are you sure about that?
This meme has the “Best car brands in the world and suspiciously next to BMW appears an Indian one” post kind of vibe.
