  1. It’s a group consisting of some of the most famous Bulgarian revolutionists and revivalists that fought and plotted for Bulgaria’s liberation from Ottoman rule.

Top to bottom, left to right:
    Georgi Benkovski – Panayot Volov
    Rayna Knyaginya – Todor Kableshkov
Panayot Hitov – Looks like Pop Hariton, but could be Botev
Georgi Sava Rakovski – Zahari Stoyanov (?)

Please, feel free to correct me if I got some of these wrong.

Also, the text on top commemorates the 100th anniversary from the April Upraising, which started the whole fight for liberation.

  2. Georgi Benkovski, Panaiot Volov, Rayna Knyaginya, Todor Kableshkov, Bacho Kiro, Hristo Botev or pop Hariton, Georgi Sava Rakovski, Zakhary Stoyanov. April Uprising 1876.

  3. They fuckedshitup using low-grade military equipment, thus becoming national heros.

  6. A bit strange that Levski isn’t on this but at the same time maybe they figured everyone knows Levski so it’s better to show some of the less famous revolutionaries which I respect honestly.
