Trans people tend to be attacked more frequently (and violently) than other segments of the LGBTQ+ group. This isn’t the best time to bring that up, but it’s worth pointing out that everyone angry about a woman competing in a competition (even though some assigned-female-at-birth athletes have to take drugs to keep their testosterone level low enough to allow them to compete – so there’s clearly an “acceptable” level of testosterone) is a thing. That happened. And it seems like it got far more attention online and around the water cooler in work (civil service) than it should have.
I don’t agree with Labour on much, but she’s 100% correct.
