  1. what do you expect from a school named after a piece of fucking cured meat

  2. If the boys aren’t allowed football kits the girls aren’t allowed Spice Girls kits simple as

  3. I mean some French people were asked to remove French flags they put in their garden in memory of victims after the terrorist attacks in Nice…

    Barry has competition.

  4. this is what she should’ve dressed up like

  5. Semi serious question:

Do you have traditional regional dresses in England? Something like the lederhosen for the Bavarians, or the different regional dresses we have in Spain.

Something we can maybe use to mock you in the future.

  6. What part of “traditional outfit” didn’t they understand? They had to be trying to rage bait, or they were fucking stupid.

  7. And he forced her to dress like this knowing only too well this would happen. Permanent victim mentality.

  8. Why isn’t she red in the face? And where’s the beer belly? I call bs.

  9. The attire should reflect national or family heritage (…) [and should hold] cultural significance.

I dont think this dress reflects the idea. I think you could well come in an attire for example of a miner, librarian or any other real job or typical british clothing.

Banning people from school because of the outfits the kids wear doesnt sit well with me at all. But british culture is a little different with school uniforms and all.

  10. That’s just a flag dress, a Victorian style dress would have been better

  11. I have a suggestion:

    1. Find a German in your family tree
    2. Wear this:

    3. Watch people lose their mind.

    – The teachers and skittle-colour-haired people who had the idea to exclude the British because they think people would be offended, but they are the most offended.

    – The professional victims of a specific faith, who shall not be named, because they are offended by everything.

Added benefit: Anonymity and you are immune against knifes.

  12. How much you wanna bet they didn’t do the document as required in the letter ?

  13. Kinda curious what a kid who doesn’t have an heritage he can track besides British would be allowed to wear, if the spice girls dress is too fascist.

  14. That outfit doesn’t represent the british culture. It is just a dress with a flag on it.
She should’ve worn a redcoat and brought a musket with her.

  15. I wouldn’t be surprised if this was manufactured, or at least dishonest. Let’s be honest, tabloids tend to do this in the UK, and there’s plenty of red-faced balcony athletes who’ll eat it up.

There are traditional regional costumes as well as some great historical stuff she could have worn, but she’s just wearing the dragon-less Union Flag.

  16. Why wouldn’t they let the kid wear that? Mad fucking stupid.

  17. look, her bag, its full of potatoes, she stole them from the Irish students and one of the smaller teachers

  18. From her essay.

    > But sometimes at school, we only hear about other cultures — which is great because learning about different countries is interesting and important. But it can feel like being British doesn’t count as a culture, just because it’s the majority.

    > I think culture should be for everyone — not just for people from other countries or backgrounds. Being British is still a culture, and it matters too. It’s part of who I am.

    > So let’s celebrate all cultures — whether they come from far away or right here at home.

She was a bit too on the nose.
