Head of State Aleksandr Lukashenko signed the law On Ratification of the Agreement between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of the Union of Myanmar on Mutual Protection of Classified Information, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service

The agreement was signed in Minsk on March 7th, 2025, as part of the official visit of Chairman of the State Administration Council, Prime Minister of Myanmar Min Aung Hlaing to Belarus.
The agreement was concluded to ensure mutual protection of classified information and in the interests of strengthening friendly relations between the two countries. This will create a legal basis for the protection of state secrets of Belarus in the implementation of bilateral co-operation with Myanmar in the military, military-technical, scientific-technical and other fields.
