I think that if the US had supplied a couple billion dollars worth of this specific missile, Ukraine could win the war. Air power define everything, and Ukraine could’ve systematically destroyed frontline air defenses, then gained air superiority over the front and just eviscerated all Russian frontline positions while enabling Ukraine to move its own air defenses and offensive equipment closer to the front. Threat of glide bombs would be gone.
“SEAD” = Suppression of Enemy Air Defenses missile
Very expensive unreliable missile. 15% sucess rate. They are ok if you have full awacs and almost total air superiority already.
