Details: Wikipedia has a large article on rashism now. It explains the origin of the term, the history of its occurrence, the main characteristics.
Wikipedia defines rashism as a kind of totalitarian, fascist ideology, a symbiosis of the basic principles of fascism and Stalinism.
It became the rationale for the barbaric geopolitics of the Russian Federation, aimed at the occupation and annexation of the territories of other states, which is often stamped as “the gathering Russian lands,” and relies on local collaborationism and the support of the Russian fifth column.

Of course, there is no article in Russian Wikipedia, but nothing if you close your eyes and do not see yourself – this does not mean that the whole world does not see
Dzhokhar Dudayev is the one who pioneered the term “Russism”. A visionary
Ruscism, very pertinent and usefull a term.
I liked that so much.
This term seems a bit confusing. As far as I can tell from the article, it’s just fascism in Russia. Why not call it Russian fascism or just fascism? They may not see themselves as fascist but they *are* fascist.
It’s a little extra confusing because “rash” is a completely different word, so “rashism” sounds like some kind of ideology of acting without thinking things through, whereas “fascism” is easily and already understood by everyone.
I guess the answer is the word did not originate in English. But we do already have a word for fascism.
To me, it’s the same as redditors calling Putin “Putler”. Call him Putin. That name deserves to go down in history as a dirty name, the same as Hitler, Stalin, Mao, etc. Putin is a facist.
And here I was for a moment thinking it involved Sean Connery.
Russia is a mafia state at this point. No surprise some Russians are cited in the article as believing Russia to be a fascist state.
