My graph for Vancouver area cities was popular, so I thought I would make a broader one. The languages listed are the top 10 spoken as a mother tongue in Canada, and all other languages fall under the "other" category.

As a vancouverite, yup! Add just Surrey and you’ll see something weird. Bit of an enclave there.
I recently flew through Montreal and was surprised by how many more French speakers there were than English speakers! Very interesting stuff.
