Maccabi Tel Aviv has announced one of the first few signings for the upcoming season.
The Israeli club officially announced the signingwith a two-year contract of Oshae Brissett , former NBA champion with the Boston Celtics jersey.
The Toronto native finished out last season wearing the Philadelphia 76ers jersey, with whom he had signed a 10-day contract.
A Syracuse University product, the Canadian player has so far played for the Toronto Raptors, Indiana Pacers, Boston Celtics, and Philadelphia 76ers in the NBA.
For Oshae Brissett this will be his first experience in European basketball after a career that has so far developed entirely between the NBA and the G League.
An extremely athletic winger with excellent perimeter defensive instincts, Brissett is certainly an intriguing addition for Maccabi Tel Aviv.
With TJ Leaf he will form a pair of 4 with very different characteristics between them, therefore able to alternate well.
The Israeli club is also in the process of finalizing the addition of Marcio Santos, Brazilian center who wore the Ratiopharm Ulm jersey last season.
The Brazilian player is expected to sign a two-year contract with the option for a third year.
