Fantastic article if you’re interested in the changing stance + opposition to Climate Progress, by UK right wing newspapers
Previously the UK was subject to considerable Climate Lies + Gaslighting:
>climate change Lies are Exposed
Daily Express
>too windy for wind turbines
Daily Mail
>get rid of the Green Crap
Sun
>Death Knell for wind farms
Daily Telegraph
>snow Chaos
Daily Express
After ~2016 these headlines have been replaced with more subtle right wing climate Obstruction although their actual editorials became vastly more pro-Environment and
>commited to cover climate change and support green activities
Hopefully their :
>years spent opposing climate policies, renewable energy and the science of climate change itself
….are over and they will truly embrace net zero
>many see it as a sign of a wider societal change
but some are still
>sceptical about the sincerity of these newspapers
I remember the Sun’s Deputy Editor (Sky news Paper review) saying the public were bored of all this Climate change stuff and we should wait until a new Climate publication before we talk about it again (last week)
Real shame that, we deserve better from the Sun etc
