Set during an elegant sit-down dinner on Thursday evening, July 17, this ceremony offers an opportunity to recognize creative campaigns, collaborative partnerships, and exceptional service delivery across the state.

With a packed schedule from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., Thursday marks the core day of GCOT. The day begins with a “State of the Industry” update from the Arizona Office of Tourism, followed by remarks from Zeek Coleman of Tourism Economics. One of the day’s highlights includes a visionary session led by Trever Cartwright of the Coraggio Group, unveiling Arizona’s new two-year strategic tourism plan. This session will introduce a pioneering collective-impact approach involving shared ownership among industry stakeholders.

International Travel Narratives: A panel of international media representatives will analyze global perceptions of the US and how Arizona can position itself more effectively amidst geopolitical and economic shifts.AI and SEO Integration: A data-driven look at how destinations can marry content marketing, search engine optimization, and artificial intelligence to remain visible and competitive in a digital-first world.Localized Sustainability: A hands-on panel exploring how global sustainability models can be adapted to meet the unique needs of Arizona’s diverse communities and landscapes.
