Prince William made a public appearance at Wimbledon with Princess Catherine and their children. They were praised for classy poise, professionalism, and more. But according to royal commentator Neil Sean, the faces seen on camera may have hidden some serious private frustration.
Fuming Behind The Scenes?
On his Daily News Headlines vlog on Monday on YouTube, Sean claimed the Prince of Wales was “fuming” behind the scenes over what he described as an underhanded PR play by Meghan Markle. While Catherine took center stage presenting the trophies, William remained composed in the royal box. However, allegedly, all was not well behind the smiles.

According to Sean, Meghan and Prince Harry “just love to make William suffer,” with Meghan described as a “very, very cold person.” Sean alleged that Meghan’s interest in reconciliation isn’t about healing family wounds, but rather a calculated attempt to revive her failing brand.
“She only wants to make up with His Majesty the King because it suits her,” Sean said. And while there’s talk of a possible public reconciliation, Sean made it clear that it’s not what it seems. “It’s not as simplistic as people are saying,” he explained. “Megan and Harry wanted public reconciliation with a formal photograph and perhaps even at best an interview.”
The aim, Sean suggested, was not just smoothing things over for the family, but to publicly rework the couple’s fractured relationship with the royals in a more favorable light. In his view, “Everything’s about what she wants.”
Big Red Flags
One of the biggest red flags for Prince William, according to Sean, is that Meghan’s outreach seems to be one-sided. “They only want to make up with his side of the family—the mega-rich, useful side,” he said. Sean pointedly asked: “Where is Meghan’s making up with her father, Thomas Markle, or indeed her half-sister?” The implication is clear. It seems that reconciliation is selective, and only pursued where it benefits Meghan.
William, is reportedly not buying into any of it, and privately, he allegedly made his stance on it very clear. Sean shared a quote from a source close to the Prince: “Well, if she’s so keen to now make amends with family members, how about a public making up between her and her own father perhaps before we go down this particular avenue?”
Despite what Sean claims was real frustration behind the scenes, William didn’t let it show publicly. He “remained the professional,” and in Sean’s opinion, “the great ambassador.” But royal watchers were not fooled. According to Sean, the man smiling in the royal box was dealing with a situation he found “very disappointing.”

Royal family fans might never know the full story, but as far as Sean is concerned, the prince sees right through the strategy and “is having none of it.” In the comments section, many people admired the future King and dissed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
