Stamping the flag on a dress doesn’t make it traditional clothing. Kicking her out is still wrong but she was clearly not following the spirit of the celebration.
In Spain, with our strong regionalism, if you showed up at a traditional regional clothing event wearing a Spanish flag for a dress people would just think you’re from special education.

I dont think this dress reflects the idea. I think you could well come in an attire for example of a miner or any other real job or typical british clothing.
