    Former HGTV star Chip Gaines issued a pointed response to conservative critics angered by the inclusion of a same-sex couple on the new series “Back to the Frontier,” which he executive produces with his wife, Joanna Gaines.

    “Talk, ask qustns, listen.. maybe even learn. Too much to ask of modern American Christian culture,” the former “Fixer Upper” co-host wrote Sunday on X. “Judge 1st, understand later/never It’s a sad sunday when ‘non believers’ have never been confronted with hate or vitriol until they are introduced to a modern American Christian.”

You’re gay yourself and dont know yet, or you are interested in a part of that couple. Either way, not their problem, its YOUR problem. It’s so WEIRD to be offended by free will, like not being forced to give birth or not being forced to be heterosexual.. I’ll never understand

  16. Well that’s awesome to hear. I think Christians need more of their role models to remind them what it means to actually be Christian. Too bad most of those “role models” are mega church grifters.

  18. I had a job in high school working at a church after school for middle school activities. The church pastor was openly gay. He was to me one of the kindest, most open minded human beings in the world. Taught me a lot about what being a Christian meant.

  21. I watched the first episode of this thing. I love shows like 1800’s House and any time modern people try to live like people used to. So far “Back to the Frontier” has a good setup.

    But they’re complaining about the gay guys??? One woman at the entrance trailer cried when she had to remove her makeup. The other woman cried when she found out there was no shower, then cried again when she had to eat canned ham. This was all the first day. The gay guys raised a couple uncontrolled brats, but at least no one cried over nonsense.
