Spent last week in North Wales, and was blown away by how spectacular everything was. We stayed in Dyserth. We normally do all inclusives abroad, but honestly after the last week, we are already looking at booking up to return. The wonderful weather really did help, but we had a great time visiting all tge sites and having full days. Has anyone got any further recommendations for places to visit on our return?

  1. Glad you liked it!

If you come back to the same area, Ruthin is a lovely town to visit. Quite quiet, but very pretty. There are a few things to see: an old medieval house called Nantclwyd y Dre, and a Victorian gaol (jail), which is now a museum. Llangollen is a must. Lovely place, very touristy: steam railway, canal with horse-drawn boats, ruined abbey, castle ruins on top of a hill, no end of gorgeous walks.

  2. for north Wales – Try going to the Llyn Penisula – absolutely stunning beaches, and so quiet as well.

If you wanted to go to south Wales – Pembrokeshire.
