  11. Some European countries are such cowards and hypocrites.

    Visas issued to Russia are up +25% 2023 vs. 2024.
    Main destinations are not even the Hungaries and Slovakias of this world (because there are much nicer holiday destinations, right?), but Italy (biggest Visa provider), France, Spain, and Greece.

    Why the fuck do we provide the citizens of a country that we’re in a war with (at the very least indirectly) the opportunity to come and celebrate their holidays here? It’s fucking ridiculous.

  12. Simply insane that most people support completely shutting off the whole country because of the actions of its government, I’m disgusted. You literally won’t accept even the victims of the regime. Speaking about “spreading propaganda” after something like this is simply ironic, it’s a cold war schizophrenia all over again. I’m waiting when China and Israel are going to be fully disallowed too then.

  13. Almost 2 years ago, I visited a small local olive oil production site in Creta. The owner told me they were seeing a bus of Russians every few days. He was pissed and also was like “don’t ask me”.

    It’s not only about France.

    And I bet a few tourists just “disappear” here and there. Sure the cash flows in but how are we making sure these dudes don’t just disappear and start doing some shady stuff ?

  17. Unpopular opinion: restricting tourism from ‘evil’ countries be it Russia, Israel, Afghanistan, Iran, China, USA, North Korea or any other country is not going to promote peace.

  18. I worked for a company where I had a Russian colleague, my manager who’s Spanish, asked him first before he hired a Ukrainian to see if he’d be uncomfortable with the person coming. As if the Ukrainian is the one who started this whole shit, What a cunt, I hated that lizard of a mane.

    A considerable part of them are agents disguised as “tourists” who, by coincidence, rent Airbnb apartments next to military bases or key buildings and facilities. Ivan, his “wife” and their two “children” love spending the month of August in a crammed apartment with great views on a NATO airfield, while Tatiana and her “boyfriend” have a craving for ports, especially if you can spot submarines… 

    As for the ones that truly are tourists, weren’t Europeans supposed to be evil satanists and immoral gays? If they hate us so much why don’t they go to North Korea for summer holidays???

  33. Should be more focused on deporting and monitoring the ones already here. I live in a EU country and through my partner (a Russian speaker) I know a whole bunch of Russians.

    They are by and large garbage people, constantly spouting shite about Zelensky being evil, corrupt spawn of Satan, or spreading pro Putin propaganda at large. They even had some pro-war car rally on a local motorway like the unabashedly fascist lobotomised chimpanzees they are. Not one of them has denounced the war, at best they don’t care.

    If they love Russia so much they should get a one way ticket to Istanbul and a EU travel ban to ensure they correctly fuck off back to Moscow.

    Its genuinely concerning that a country we are basically at war with has access to sleeper cells of brainwashed future saboteurs throughout the EU.
