Moreover, the train track has been conserved and covered with a wooden deck to be easily restored if it’s to be reopened again in the future.
Edit: [bonus pic](https://imgur.com/a/5ucYhRY) on the right, there is an open air working area with chargers and wifi. And another [bonus pic](https://imgur.com/a/CKn1EJH) of the wooden deck that covers the train track.
Edit 2: found this [cool pic](https://imgur.com/a/mcuyO4k) from when they started working on the second segment.
This is great!
Beautiful! Very nice use of that area!
Lool, in Polish Dupa means ass xD
Looks like ass in second one
nice ass on the second pic
Where is this?
Why is the train not operational any more?
Dupa lol
As a dad, i’ll say this: That’s a pretty sweet looking playground.
Looks great! How long did the project take?
Could have used the same saturation for both images.
Nice ass.
The polish incoming
Who did this?
This is a wonderful project and i’m super happy that cities around Europe are starting to transform old unused parts of them into wonderful green areas for everyone
Why not another set of buildings ?
/s
This is such a good idea covering the tracks. In belgrade they’ve ripped them all when building that waterfront monstrosity
This is impressive. How long did it take?
Wow, nicely done!
In Poland it would end with more apartment blocks / road / parking.
I wish all the EU would move highways that pass through cities underground and made linear parks as well
This would take about 40 years to do in Sweden.
that doesnt look like 4.2km lol
dupa xd
This will make up for the destruction of the IOR Park ( so that new residential blocks can be built 🤩🤩🤩 )
I warn you for one last time Romanians – stop getting good. It is not fair that you suddenly start progressing and we don’t.
Nu e rau, sunt impresionat. Cand am auzit ca se face parcul liniei credeam ca e o gluma
Among the many things I hate about Orban and Fidesz is that they buy up everything and make a concrete monstrosities. If they are stealing everything at least they could make nice, green scenery like this.
I guess you can steal more money from concrete.
It needs more trees,
Grass won’t take the heat waves away
That’s an interesting naming of the 2nd location
this is render or they actually planted grown trees?
I live there and transition from dirt unusable road to park was amazing. I use it almost every day now
so much parking space wasted for this green stuff(?) /s this is awesome gj
In the US, this would have been turned into a parking lot.
there is one linear park under construction in down town belgrade. it stretches past the confluence of the danube and the sava river. btw this looks really nice. enjoy it.
This is absolutely amazing!! Well done to whoever was involved!!
I love that park.
Hope there’s already a parallel tram line otherwise this is such a missed opportunity to combine the park with a tram.
