  1. No surprises there. As a Romanian I never understood the movement of anti-Hellenism I’ve witnessed (to clarify: not in Romania but in various online debates). So many people trying to claim ancient Greeks have nothing to do with modern Greeks, even though it’s a literal documented continuation of the same language and culture on the exact same territory.
    Have there been border shifts and migration waves? Sure, but which territory has not experienced that in the last 2 thousand years, I know ours sure as shit has. Obviously assimilation has taken place since again, it’s the same damn language still existing on the exact same territory…
