  5. because about 10-15% of the Irish population is and always has been scumbags. i.e. people with no self respect, no respect for others’ property and a chip on their shoulder which makes them hate or resent anyone more prosperous than themselves.

  7. People that litter fucking baffle me. How in he fuck anyone can just throw something on the ground without caring is beyond me.

    Its a clear sign that your parents were also a pair of pricks.

And If the simple respect for other peoples property isn’t there, then they should think all the crap they throw goes into their food supply and water and that it does effect them in the long term. Alas dumb c*nts can’t be taught. Some lovely people are throwing dirty nappies over the wall close to my family home. Great to know they have created a new generation

  13. Live down a cul de sac, but there’s a popular walking spot at the end of it.

    I pick up rubbish most evenings of the week but there’s always something new, especially in the summer it can be a nightmare.

  14. Supermacs are the classic. Which is weird, because there isn’t a Supermacs for miles and miles around me.

    Funny enough McDonalds I only ever find the coffee cups (albeit plenty of them).

  15. It’s a fucking joke. This behaviour infuriates me. You’re in a vehicle that can bring your rubbish anywhere in the country with no effort. It takes more effort to chuck it out the window. Worse – some poor fucker like the driver behind you ends up volunteering to pick up that litter.

    Absolute dirt bird behaviour that should carry penalty points.

  17. Had a lady throw her hamburger wrapper out the window a long with a Mayo chicken right in front of me while I was working.

    So i picked it up put my hand through her car window and left it on the dash.

    All the while her 2 year old was throwing f bombs at me.

  21. This is one of the saddest things we’ve experienced traveling around Ireland for the past 5 months. Scenery is beautiful, but if you look over any edge there is litter everywhere. From bags full of it on roads to emptied out cars at watchpoints overlooking nature. Even when there are bins nearby.

    the rubbish was terrible but there were two used condoms dumped as well animals.

  24. Because they are ignorant self-centered people.

    You first need to have _some_ respect and empathy for other people in order to not do crap like this.

    These people care only about themselves. The rubbish they leave behind doesn’t affect them personally, and it’s probably “not their job” to put it in a bin.

    So out the window it goes. They don’t want it messing up **their** car!
