21:48 CET – Flavio Cobolli has edged Duje Ajdukovic 6-7, 6-4, 10-6 in the second rubber of the Hopman Cup clash between Italy and Croatia. The Italians have thus taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the tie.

19:27 CET – Over in Bari, Hopman Cup hosts Italy have taken a 1-0 lead in their Group B clash against Croatia after Lucia Bronzetti saw off the challenge of Donna Vekic 6-3, 4-6, 10-1.

19:17 CET – Sixth seed Luciano Darderi is the latest man through in Bastad, with the Italian easing past Elias Ymer in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2.

18:09 CET – Moving back to Hamburg, Hungary’s Dalma Galfi has beaten German Nastasja Schunk 1-6, 6-3, 6-2 to book a quarter-final berth.

17:32 CET – Meanwhile, the second seed in Bastad, Tallon Griekspoor, has come from a set down to avoid a shock defeat against Andrea Pellegrino. The Dutchman won 4-6, 7-6 (8-6), 6-3 to book his spot in the final eight.

17:23 CET – After missing Wimbledon through injury, Casper Ruud has returned to action with a 7-5, 7-6 victory against Dominic Stricker in Gstaad.

17:08 CET – The experienced Viktoriya Tomova has produced a shock win in Hamburg against third seed Tatjana Maria, winning 6-3, 7-6 (7-5).

15:00 CET – In the second match between an Argentine and a Chilean in Bastad today, the Argentine player has come out victorious again. 

Camilo Carabelli won in straight sets 6-4, 6-4 against Cristian Garin to book his place in the next round. 

Elsewhere in Bastad, Botic Van De Zandschulp has comfortably beaten home player Mikael Ymer to progress.

13:59 CET – Second seed Dayana Yastremska is safely through in Hamburg after a relatively routine 6-4, 6-3 triumph over Jule Niemeier.

Meanwhile, in Bastad, Jesper de Jong and Filip Misolic have progressed to the next round.

13:15 CET – The first match of the day has finished in Bastad with the favourite Mariano Navone winning comfortably 7-5, 7-5 against Tomas Vera.

Over on the WTA tour, Jil Teichmann has won in Romania after beating Maja Chwalinska 7-6 (7-5), 6-2.

12:30 CET – Over in Switzerland on the ATP tour, Peruvian youngster Ignacio Buse has caused somewhat of an upset to come from a set down to win 1-6, 7-5, 6-1 against Kamil Majchrzak.

12:20 CET – Ekaterina Alexandrova has wasted no time in booking her place in the next round in Hamburg in just under an hour after a dominant 6-0, 6-3 victory against Eva Vedder

10:14 CET – We’ve had our final result of the day in Los Cabos, as home favourite and wildcard Luis Carlos Alvarez Valdes has swept aside James McCabe 6-1, 6-2 in just 74 minutes.

Before we turn our attention to tournaments in Bastad, Gstaad, Hamburg and Iasi, there’s already been plenty of action overnight in Los Cabos, with fifth seed Daniel Altmaier seeing off Mitchell Krueger in straight sets, 6-4, 6-3, and James Duckworth defeating the experienced Adrian Mannarino, 6-3, 6-4.

The Hopman Cup also gets underway today, as tournament hosts Italy face Croatia in the opening tie in Group B.
