  1. It was sold (legitimately) in June for €95k – €20k under the AMV.

Bit of a bargain for a house in the middle of back-arse nowhere, with an obvious deranged lunatic as the previous owner, who has previously “sold” the property to what I can only assume to be another deranged lunatic or some naive sucker.

I can only guess the REA was pissing herself laughing when she wrote this: “The property offers huge potential as a family home and one you can complete and decorate to your own style and taste.”

Oh yeah, just disregard the demented writing on the walls and garage and Jimmy-Joe, the previous owner, eyeballing you from across the fields while he caresses his over-under lovingly and softly ranting about Pepper Finance.

  2. One thing I notice with a lot of sale and letting adverts in Ireland is the incredible lack of effort sellers and landlords put in for the photos – beds unmade, shit left out on the counter, grass unmowed. But this is next level – you’d think the estate agent would have gone around with some paint or spirits to try and get the shit off before the photos.

If you’re gonna charge people an arm and a leg to buy to buy or let a property, the least you can do is put some effort into making it nice.

  3. Sovereign citizen cranks have done as much damage to the vulnerable in this country as lead pipes.
