How The Ivy is classed as ‘high end’ is beyond me.
It’s London there’s mice everywhere, as long as there isn’t an infestation….
The chain of Ivy’s is most definitely not ‘high end’.
Was there also a convention of bald women with scratchy heads there?
If I were them I would just release a statement saying they are filming a new Ratatouille movie.
Ratatouille 3, the Ivy……..
It’s at #2 in Harden’s current Most Disappointing Cooking list.
Although I consider the excellent Souris Sous Vide to be worth a detour at least.
One of my favourite London memories was drinking in a bar in Soho after closing hours and being told to keep my feet and handbag off the ground. The place was absolutely covered in mice, they all came out when it got quiet, it was like being in a bizarre mouse film
I’ve worked in a range of different places in London from Pubs to Michelin star restaurants and they ALL have problems with mice. It’s very hard to avoid.
