Interesting that they have Reform on four extra seats with just 0.5% more of the vote than PC. I guess they’re thinking they have better distribution? In any event, tells us what we already know, there will need to be an agreement of some sort between Labour and Plaid.
Seems like a labour plaid coalition is inevitable, still unknown who will lead it, but looking more likely to be plaid. Reform is not gonna win.
Perfect for Reform. Claim victory as the most popular party but can’t govern (even with a coalition with the conservatives). So they can sit back and refuse to cooperate on committees and groups whilst bringing in the cash and claim that the system doesn’t work and is undemocratic. Playbook right out of UKIP/Brexit Party in the EU.
Lab lose the first minister in this poll
Looks about right based on polling. Lib Dems won’t get two. Greens are touch and go for Cardiff West & Penarth, suspect not in the end.
I have a sneaky feeling labour might end up getting more seats than plaid, but that’s all down to what happens at UK level over the next year. But that’s only a feeling.
