  1. As an American, it’s so wild how in Europe if a skeleton is found in a basement they first need to figure out if its a crime scene or an archeological site.

  2. Still blows my mind that there was a one point a grave there in a field and the village, then later a city, and this grave just got built over at some point, and then sunk.

    800 years or so is not that long in the big scheme of things.
