Luxair has unveiled a major network expansion for 2026, including a new direct route to Edinburgh launching 3 July, along with eight additional European and Mediterranean destinations.
Luxair has officially announced the launch of a new direct flight route connecting Luxembourg to Edinburgh, set to begin on 3 July 2026. This marks a significant expansion in the airline’s UK network and offers a new travel option between the heart of Europe and Scotland’s historic capital.
Luxair will operate a twice-weekly service between Luxembourg Airport (LUX) and Edinburgh Airport (EDI) on Mondays and Fridays.
The route is set to launch on 3 July 2026, offering passengers a convenient, direct connection to one of the UK’s most popular destinations. Edinburgh, known for its stunning architecture, cultural festivals, and historic charm, will attract both tourists and professionals from Luxembourg and the Greater Region.
In addition to the Scottish capital, the Luxembourgish airline has announced eight more destinations to be added to its route map:
