  1. I mean, not everyone agrees homosexuality should be legal but tbh they have nothing to apologize for. They did the right thing.

  2. Many European countries (and even some US states) had the death penalty for homosexuality up until the 1700-1800s, and many US states still had laws criminalizing homosexuality (under anti-sodomy laws) up until 2003. Not that long ago, when you think about it…
