>Dave Humphreys, Road Test Editor for CompleteCar.ie told Newstalk there are several reasons for lower pass rates in Dublin.
>“Down the country, there are probably going to be less people or fewer people actually taking the tests so there are probably fewer tests taking place there,” he said.

I don’t think Dave understands how percentages work.
what the hell is going on in Nenagh
I’m going to hazard a guess that Nenaghs driving examiner is a dickhead
There is a lot more going on in the cities, more hazards that can cause failures.
tá fhios ag gach mac madra ar sin
I am surprised. Never saw that coming. Bolt from the blue, and all that jazz
Naas was the hardest test for a long time, the failure rate was in the 40% for a long time. There was a reverse around the corner on a hill that they made you do, and the hill was quite steep. The residents complained about all the testing in the estate and they had to change the route.
I never fancied doing my test in Portlaoise with all the mini-roundabouts and they way people use them, but the pass rate always seems to be decent enough.
That’s because they’re all hopped up on goofballs.
surprised castlebar has such a high pass rate wouldve thought it a nightmare town to do the test in
Just as well, they’re shit drivers.
Surely the quality of the instruction is a factor in the pass rate too? I never hear that mentioned. It’s always put down to secret agreements or spiteful examiners.
