Dutch student at NTNU looking for housing in Trondheim – stuck without BankID for Finn.no

Hi all,

I'm a Dutch student about to begin my studies at NTNU in Trondheim and I'm looking for a room through websites like Finn.no and Hybel.no—they seem to have the most reliable listings. But I’ve hit a roadblock: Finn.no requires BankID for contacting landlords or initiating contracts, and as someone not yet resident in Norway, I can’t obtain BankID beforehand.

Besides Finn.no, I’ve tried Hybel.no and Leieboligen.no, but haven’t had much success either.

Any help or tips would be super appreciated! 🙏
