It’s kinda the wrong question, since a PM can effectively be removed by the Commons via a vote of no confidence. That would be the obvious thing to do if an underlying offence is minor but the Commons doesn’t think that person should be PM any more.
IIRC it was looked at when Blair was PM and the legal advice was that it could technically be done.
We aren’t Americans, the PM only has as much law making power as any other MP and the only power he has is that he has the support of a majority of MP’s . This can change at any time.
