This is Brazil’s far-right congress punishing the President for vetoing tax breaks for the rich and an increase in the number of members of congress.
What a shame that Lula is ruining his legacy like this, given that he once was well known for slashing deforestation. But after all, he’s got a far right congress…
The Brazilian Congress saw what Trump did to U.S. environmental protections and said, ‘That’s cute—hold my beer while we torch the rainforest.’”
Man, we really are speed-running the destruction of this planet this year, aren’t we.
Once you understand that a secret cabal of reptilians are conspiring to raise the global average temperature of the earth it all makes sense. The real question is where they are terrestrial or alien?
/s We hope.
They’re shameful about honoring their rainforest.
If the congress enacted those laws, it would seem to have the authority to amend those laws.
And, if they’re “bad” amendments, won’t he just veto them?
And, if the veto is over-ridden by congress, the article promises litigation about its constitutionality.
I would think outsiders would want to respect the sovereignty of Brazil’s elected officials, and judiciary.
What is wrong with this world? Are we being ruled by death cults?
