Producer prices in Moldova rose 5.3% year-on-year in June 2025, the fastest pace since September 2023, slightly up from a 5.0% increase in the previous month.
The uptick was mainly driven by faster price growth in manufacturing (3.0% vs 2.8%).
However, the acceleration was partly offset by slower price increases in mining and quarrying (12.4% vs 12.7%) and in electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning supply (25.0% vs 25.4%).
On a monthly basis, producer prices rose 0.3% in June, easing from a 1.6% gain in May
