  1. Worth once again remembering that she is 12 years old

  2. School said no flag clothing to everyone, she turns up with a flag dress and now is a victim?

  3. From what videos I’ve seen, the daughter looks perfectly fine speaking about it.

I don’t get why people are talking like it’s a ‘gun to the head’ / ‘it’s all the dads doing’ moment.

It’s absolutely sad to see pathetic, low-life scum making threats, but I feel there definitely is a conversation to be had, as there definitely seems to be a trend of over-obsessing around cultures and diversity which end up stripping our own.

There was drama not so long ago about a school banning christmas nativities to encourage diversity.

My wife works at a nursery that stopped doing christmas nativities and easter parades to encourage diversity.

  4. Modern Britain in a nutshell.

    – out of control political correctness
    – a lack of common sense
    – right wing nutjobs looking for outrage
    – Keir Starmer now involved

Worst of all though is the father exposing his daughter to all this nonsense and using her as a pawn in our bullshit culture war.

The member of staff who told her the dress was unacceptable and denied her entry to her class should be sacked.

All threats to staff need to be thoroughly investigated and the perpetrators punished.

Get back in with teaching the kids FFS.

  5. No wonder people don’t want to be teachers – you discipline kids for not following the rules and their parents run off to tabloids and end up stoking extremists and hate. The school can’t give more context about the pupils and past behaviour due to GDPR. Fuck that, if I were the school, I’d tell them to find a new school that’s compatible with their “values.”

  6. The playbook continues as planned. Seriously, guys, you could predict this step by step.

  7. Right wing outrage is always so level headed. This is a surprise turn of events. /s

  8. everyone blaming the dad, that dress should be fine, this is UK 😀 if anyone wanted to celebrate their coulture, they would live in their own countries

  9. Really the only lesson here is don’t use your kids to make banal political points.

  10. “The Dad influenced her, the Dad influenced her! Unlike all the other kids wearing hijabs that day!”

  11. Extremist threats or a strongly worded letter? Doesn’t exactly take much to close a school these days…

  12. If it was a plan to get likes and attention, the school very, very, VERY helpfully fell for it.

  13. Still wanna know what was in that speech without going to a yaxley-lennon concert like the dad is

There’s more to this than, we didn’t want her wearing a flag dress .. famously cultural heritage btw .

Either way everyone is an idiot in this story’
