1. I literally cannot see the words “Israel” and “investigate” without laughing. I wonder who they think they’re fooling, because these less-than bare minimum patinas of bullshit actively make me think the opposite, that they are deliberate.

2. Just as they deeply regret bombing children waiting for food aid, massacring ambulance crews and covering it up, precision striking WCK cars, and they will surely do everything in their power to prevent it from ~~leaking to the public~~ *happening again.*

3. This is not even the first time that Israeli forces have killed civilians at this church. A sniper killed two women inside the church in 2023. Did they ever investigate that incident? I might have missed the findings

5. At what point do people start realising how much Israel lies?

   They are all in on it. It’s a collective genocidal mania and mass delusion event. They are fully indoctrinated.

   They will deny Israel would commit a certain crime. Israel then commits that crime and they deny that the crime happened. If there is evidence, they will say the evidence is fake. If the evidence is proven to be true, they will say they are “investigating” or it was a one-off incident by a soldier and won’t happen again. Rinse and repeat.

   Israel could literally kill everyone in Gaza and then continue to deny it.

6. The title should say “It ‘deeply regrets’ strike on Gaza’s only Catholic church, says nation that uses gang rape and intentionally bombs children as part of ethnic cleansing campaign.”

7. Oh boy, Israel sure makes a lot of MISTAKES, doesn’t it? Maybe Israelis are just criminally incompetent and stupid people and shouldn’t be trusted with an army 🙂

8. “investigate” is Israeli for *”put it on the back burner until the news cycle cools down, then possibly dismiss some low level IDF officer if a fig leaf is still necessary”*. Then it’ll happen again because it’s an institutional problem, and again no one will question their “investigation”.

   The families of those killed have demanded an independent investigation from time to time but there’s no way to enforce it and the US has never supported it afaik even when our own people have been killed by Israel.

9. Does anyone remember when at the start of the war Israel struck an Orthodox Church if they apologized like this? I certainly don’t remember any talk of it, but it would also be unfair for me to say anything accusatory without making sure first.

10. Translation: oops, sorry guys, we thought you’d be cool with us indiscriminately killing anyone in/around Gaza. Our bad-are you still cool with the rest of our cleansing?

11. Israel regrets none of this.

    It has to keep lying to give cover to supporters. Same with the lynching of the American citizen by Israeli terrorist settlers.

    Am not saying they meant to do it.. but they really really don’t care that they did.
