America needs more electricity. Trump has the worst idea for how to fix that. Reversing progress on clean energy will profoundly damage our country and economy. Most voters will never know the economic opportunities lost, or grasp how Trump’s promotion of coal and oil are worsening natural disasters

  1. The goal here is to destroy the republic and United States’ competitiveness in the world. trump is a Russian asset.

  2. Doesn’t matter if we’re winning the stock market, libshit!!!! /S

  3. Republicans: “We have an energy emergency.”

Also Republicans: “But solar and wind power aren’t energy.”

  4. I don’t remember the exact numbers, but the problem is that $1 in clean energy investment gives you $1-2 in energy, where $1 in coal/natural gas gives you $50 in energy. Not that either political party seems concerned with spending money. Cost is merely a excuse for cancelling something you don’t like, but if it fits your political agenda, the sky is the limit as far a budget goes.

  5. Most of his voters get their news from Fox and have no idea how big of a problem is this.

  6. They can throw all the money they want at coal, no new plants will open. It’s just not a cost effective solution anymore. Even with subsidies propping it up, its not going to compete. Not with renewables, not even against other fossil fuel energy sources.

  7. But the fossil fuel industry was willing to pay the bribe. Damn the future of the country and the people.

  8. It is all about money for Trump. He has zero plans, zero policy. This American government is blatantly corrupted and dangerous.

  9. We are idiots and deserve the extinction that is coming to us

  10. He isn’t working alone, he has the support of the entire GOP. He has outdated opinions but he didn’t actually create any of the current energy policies. That was done by people in the background. When the ACA was saved by one vote, everyone gave credit to John McCain. But the real credit needed to go towards all of the Dems that voted “no”. Same thing with our current stance against renewables.

  11. Show me how the system will get a base load using renewables. Solar panels covering every acre of land?

  12. JFC we can’t get through the next 1.5 years and 3.5 years fast enough. I hope Democrats can stop shitting the bed long enough to maybe win the midterms in ‘26

  13. To interfere with Green Energy, Electric Vehicles and any other renewable energy industry should be a crime.
Mother Earth will have the last say.

  14. Yes, lot of demand for energy as the power bills tripled in recent years, this year so far 50% increase from last year
