Soft fruit has been brilliant this year, lots of everything.

Pity it isn’t Goosegogs, you don’t see many of them these days.
We have an old overgrown Victorian park (it had an outdoor stage and a bandstand) in our post industrial/mining village and it’s rife with brambles and, in places, gooseberries.
That’s a decent mature bush. You can tell by the number of nodules per fruit. Make the most of it 🙂
I’m really jealous. Enjoy the crumbles with that lovely haul.
