Biden’s Team Lied About Gaza. It’s Time to Hold Them Accountable

1. Okay, hold him accountable how? I promise, I will never vote for him again. Not vote for his party again? I would love it, if I thought that would make America, and the world a better place. I dont.

   By the time enough political change comes to America where the nation will send him off to the ICC, he will be long dead. We might be able to get Vance sent there, when he is in his 70s.

2. If we are going to hold Bidens team accountable for assisting Israel in genocide, how many other presidents should we be also holding to account, lets not pretend that Biden did not just follow along with American complicity in defending Israel from repercussions of their actions and endless material support in carrying it out.

3. This was apparent and was the main reason why democrats lost the Arab vote in Michigan.

   It was meant to be a message that the people want and need to be heard. If you’re going to chase lobbyist money, don’t expect people to vote for you just to keep the status quo.

   American voters are irrational and dont take lightly to being disrespected. It was the arrogance of the Democratic party that got us here.

4. Accountability means hog-tying Sullivan, McGurk, Hochstein, Blinken, Kirby, Patel, Miller, and all those propagandists and Middle East “advisors” and Bush era holdovers and rampant racists and liars and airdropping them into jail cells in the Netherlands.

5. The Dems were stuck with the Gaza situation unfolding during a general election. Their choices were: champion Israel and lose all progressive support, rebuke Israel then get annihilated by a GOP/AIPAC onslaught…or oscillate between support and criticism and look weak and feckless like they did and hope for the best.

   Really they didn’t have a choice.

6. How about holding the current president accountable? He is the one actively encouraging Israels attacks, trying to protect Netanyahu, and talking about joining in on the forcible relocation and genocide.

7. I think Biden didn’t have a lot of room to maneuver. Netanyahu was definitely being evasive and misleading. They privately agreed to multiple ceasefires with Biden’s diplomats and immediately turned around an reneged. It was also campaign season and public sentiment was still largely with Israel. The Dem base was split, but the middle was still with Israel and Trump was using it as a wedge. Taking a principled stand isn’t always an option if it ends with you losing power.

8. Ah yes, let’s blame all problems in the world on Democrats. Always so productive.

   We haven’t held Trump accountable for rape, pedophilia, abandoning our allies, nakedly taking bribes from foreign powers, deploying the military to kidnap people off American streets, etc. but let’s spend a bunch of time hand wringing over Biden.

   Thank god for the Palestinans’ sake the Democrats got taught a lesson in the last election, right? Things are going so much better for them now that Harris didn’t get in.

9. This can be a conversation at some point. But right now we have a president who doesn’t seem to even try to restrain Bibi much whatsoever. Why waste energy on criticizing Biden if that only strengthens Trumps power and he is worse for the Palestinian people?

We need Israel as a strategic ally and that means we’re in bed with genocidal religious zealots.

    We have a current sitting President that raped kids and most likely used his pageant to further provide minors to others. And an entire political party covering it up on his behalf by deleting 3 minutes of security footage and completely abolishing the fact that they won’t release the list of names.

    But yes, let’s focus on the former President.

12. I firmly believe Kamala would be president right now if she’d just been willing to say the words: “I will suspend all military aid and weapons sales to Israel” or, AT BARE MINIMUM, signal that she’d handle the situation differently than Biden.

13. If true, I agree. However, putting our focus, time, and energy into combatting Trump and American fascism comes first. That is **by far** the more pressing threat to not just America, but the world at large. We won’t ever even *be able* to hold anyone in this country accountable for anything again if they get away with their plans to take it over entirely. A significant part of their strategy to do that is to distract and divide the public so they can skirt on by. Remember this, but *don’t* let this distract from what the Trump administration wants you to forget about – namely, **the Epstein files**.

14. Shit. The American population should be held accountable for crimes against humanity. Why is America turning into a dictatorship controlled by oligarchs and multi-billionaires?

15. If you paid attention to the Miller interview, you would have learned that he believed in three things relevant to this topic:

    1. He did feel like US should hamper and rein Israel in for the sake of the innocent civilians, and they did. Delay shipments, guarantee aid, etc etc.

    2. He was acceptive of the war crime commited by Israel because it was the lesser evil, the alternative is rewarding Hamas, and that is a not an option when worth considering.

    3. He does not believe there’s a genocide. He does not not believe there’s top level directives to commit war crimes. He believes they were individual actions, and that the perpetrators have not been effectively punished.
