It entered my house tonight and I completely sh*t my pants. It was about 1.5 to 2cm and was trying to renter my house for 20 minutes after I managed to lock her out. I had never seen a wasp this big to be honest. Is this a common type around here? This was in Zürich btw, Glattbrugg to be precise.

  2. Hornet.
    They always come out at dusk/night when it’s colder.
    You can get them out of the house by turning the lights off and diverting them with another light source outside, since shooing them will definetly make them sting you, more than just once.

  6. European hornets. They are friends. Way less agressives than german wasps, est bugs and if you have some nearby, you wont have freakin wasps. The sting hurt tho, but not much more than wasps its pretty much the same
