Posting on the social media account, Princess Eugenie wrote, ‘The Olympics is one of the best things in our world. It’s such a special time watching superhuman athletes represent their countries, bringing people together and inspiring generations.’
The mother-of-two continued, ‘Some of my most favourite memories from 2012 was being on the sidelines cheering on our heroes. Not to mention, the best moment of all, watching my family win silver in eventing, goooo Z!’
The Princess of Wales, along with Princes William and Harry, joined Princess Anne and Queen Camilla to watch Zara compete in the Eventing Team Jumping event in London. In a touching moment which remains one of the most poignant from the Games in 2012, the Princess Royal presented her daughter with her team medal.
