You’d expect something like Lwów or Grodno to be the most culturally Polish cities outside of Poland currently, but nope. It’s Vilnius. I wish we still had Lwów and Grodno, it just doesn’t feel natural for Poland to end at Przemyśl…

I wish that we had this tradition in Romania. In Bucharest, my birthplace, high school graduates take celebratory pictures before the Romanian Athenaeum, throw a banquet and that’s. about. it.
It’s overrated and waste of time but I’m probably in minor. Many people didn’t like it too and act it as another occasion to drink. But it was around 2010 so different times
