Love this show, in fact with all that’s going on with broadcasting, I’d say bbc radio is far more important than tv. BBC radio is almost unique globally for its excellence. It’s no wonder millions listen.

I know its silly but was such a close link to my childhood and an imagined past.
Samantha is off on a dinner date with a gentleman friend from Moscow who’s brought over a variety of caviars and an array of vodka-based apperitifs. She says he’s going to offer her delicious food in his hotel room and then liquor out on the balcony.
Who can ever forget Una Stubbs, open-mouthed, as she watched Lionel Blair pull-off 12 Angry Men in under two minutes.

elderly archivist have taken to searching the shelves by candle-light,

My sister branded me a misogynist because I read Viz and listen to ISIHAC. We don’t speak that much.
I like beef wellington, but my wife likes tongue in Cider.
